Ooh! I loved it! Well done! I really feel for Sean and for Orli, since I sorta know what's coming next. *squishes you to bits for continuing with this series* :D

Thanks dear. Yeah I think that knowing that things aren't happily resolved does lend a different feeling to the fic...or at least it does for me writing it...maybe it does nothing for the reader in that sense but it helps me write it anyway... :-)

Don't worry now that I've finished this part the muses are whispering again for this series, I honestly didn't know if it was going to be continued after this part but they want it to so it shall be continued. Not sure what time period the next part will take place in or when exactly it's going to be out, I really want to get back to Mad World, but eventually it'll come... :-)

Thanks again, glad you enjoyed it!

Squeeee! I'm SO glad you finally got back to this one. I just love it so much and the way you're telling it just works so well. And you picked the perfect icky guy too *shudders* John just gives me the heebie-jeebies ;P

And oh GOD! possessive!Sean *dies a thousand happy deaths* Don't we all just adore a possessive!Sean?!?!?

I really can't wait to see what you come up with next in this universe.

Awww...thanks dear, I'm glad it lived up to any expectations you might have had for it. Knowing how much you loved this series helped push me to continue it and as I said to Sanz above while I wasn't sure if I was going to continue it after this part the muses are a gabbing for more so...don't know when it's going to be out but there'll be another part coming.

I'm glad John worked out I wanted to try someone different and it needed to be someone that would be *really* intimidating to a gangly 15 year old kid yet could also be intimidating to Sean if he managed to get the upper hand and I think he worked out the best.

Hmmm....Possessive!Sean...yeah I do so love possessive!Sean.... *drools*

Oh, I really hope you do continue with this series in some form...I need to know what happened between this bit and the present that caused all the angst...I need it in exquisite detail ;P

Go Sean! [cheer!]

I liked this one very much. Poor Sean -- I feel sorry for him, but all the feelings roiling up inside him are very sweet. :)

Thanks, dear...glad you enjoyed it. I'm always worried with this one because I have to set the right balance or Sean seems a little pervy so I have to set the right cord that the feelings are there but Sean either doesn't really realize what's happening or now that he doesn't want it to happen.

And that these are feelings he's just having for Orlando who's been an important part of his life for 11 years, not just some random 15 year old standing on a street corner. If that makes any sense.

Anyway I'm glad the right balance is being achieved even if it does still feel slightly wrong to be writing it... :-P

I don't think it's pervy at all, actually. Orlando's old enough in this story that it's perfectly normal and natural for someone to be sexually attracted to him; secondary sex characteristics are Nature's way of saying, "Hey, this one's ready, come make babies!" (Or whatever, in the case of someone who's gay.) Our society delays reproduction for social reasons, and they're good reasons given the complexity of our cultures, but the physical impulses are still there and they're still natural. What's wrong or "pervy" is actually doing something about those urges. It's the behavior which is "right" or "wrong" when dealing with someone who's not of legal age but is post-pubescent, not the feelings or the thoughts. Trying to tell someone feeling a perfectly natural physical or emotional impulse that they're wrong or evil or sick is pointless and counter-productive. The evil and sick ones are the people who try to act on those impulses with a person who isn't yet old enough to have gotten a firm grasp on the long-term consequences and ( ... )

Oh I know that it's totally a societial (I don't think that's a real word but whatever... *snerks) feeling and that as far as nature is concerned you're ready when you're sexually mature and that in the past a fifteen year old might have been in the process of being married or in some cases married already and that there are still some cultures out there where this is still the case. And that the age difference in some of those marriages is a lot bigger in some cases than 20 years ( ... )
