I thought I've nevers see the day when layoffs hit the civil service. The problem is the work wont go away. If your upper management said it was likely you are not on the list, you probably are not. Also it depends if they use "logic" to decide who they keep and who goes. Make a mental list of who you might expeect to get it. They may doc folks closer to retirement. I was on a call today, one of teh people who works for AMDOCS (a compnay big floo parsed a bunch of people over to) lost their job.

Interesing Calif is issuing a an amemdment 10? (States rights) to Washington.

Logic? Nah, they'll go by senority. And it will take months to work out.

I don't know what an amendment 10 is?

If we're doing it, it's probably ill-advised.

Oh that! Yeah, its weird to be doing that as a liberal state. Traditioanlly that was the battle cry of the anti-civil rights states.

Obviously the Malfoys are far less klutzy than my silly fat ass! :P Much time spent with eyes crossed and I'd knock myself out on a doorjamb!

I refuse to cross anything out of sheer contrariness, but I whisper a word to the wind that all works well in your world.
