Just finished opening arguments. He's older then I was told, 26. Served two tours in Iraq which explains a lot actually. His Mom is there and I heard for the first time a lot of what happened that night. She cried when they showed the pictures. This whole thing sucks so much. I feel bad for everyone.

How sad. From what you describe, he sounds like someone worthy of pity, but perhaps not an equal amount of mercy. Then again, I wasn't there.
