Sorry for the delay in posting, but RL has been whumping me lately! Fortunately, I am several chapters ahead of the posts so I can satisfy all of you whumpers out there!

Aha, I knew you had a good reason for McKay to act this badly! I'm looking forward to finding out just what that ring was and how it affected Rodney, and nice look at the John/Atlantis interaction. Yay for Sam, too!

Interesting twist! It's nice to see John is getting a little better. I actually feel a little sorry for Rodney. (just a little)

Hey, it's SkyeGraham. I did what you said and picked up reading Lightening Strikes here on LJ. I just love it. I just finished chapters 4-8( well the last one here.) what a great story. Now we have the matter of the small black ring Sam managed to knock off Rodney. This has been such an interesting story with things loping up that I didn't expect: Woolsey making Sheppard follow Rodney around, Atlantis really taking it out on the scientists by freezing them out and now Rodney and the 'Wraith Ring.' I also like the way you worked in 'the whump.' it just happens as naturally as the progression of the story.
Again, well done! I am looking forward to more. Thanks for the gr8 entertainment.

Now aren't you glad you did? My posts here are ahead of my posts on FF by at least 4 to 5 chapters. I'm glad you're enjoying it! There are plenty more to come. I'm up to 17 so far. I don't post it quickly because I'm famous for going back 2-3 chapters from where I am and adding or changing stuff. There are at least 3-4 more to go.

I'm also trying to come up with good ideas for an SGA wedding. We all know that something would get in the way! Let me know if you have any thoughts.

Hi Amycat!
Well--I found you here on LJ! I liked Sam as commander of Atlantis on the show--she and John had a great relationship and mutual respect and she knew how to handle Rodney too...
I'm really happy there is a reason Rodney acted like an ass--so an evil ring is to blame!! Clever--cant wait to find out how he came upon it or what made him wear it--Anyway--glad theres a reason--it will be easier for John--and everyone to forgive him his appalling behavior... great chapter!!
