Just a normal day.
Even though it really wasn't.
He was doing grocery shopping like everybody does. Grabbing his boyfriends favorite brand of beer.
It seemed so normal but it was special to Luke because it was the first time he was doing the grocery shopping for his new apartment. He was sick of not having any privacy now his relationship with Reid was heating up. So when a friend asked if he would sublet his apartment while he was doing an internship in England for a year, he took the offer.
Tonight he was going to cook dinner and since Reid wasn't on call he was hopping he would stay till breakfast. They have been trying to be together for a while now. unfortunately on the few night when Katie and Jacob weren’t at home Reid's pager went off just after the belts where opened. He kind off loved the look of disappointment on the face off the man he was undressing though. It felt nice to be so wanted by such a great man. That's why he wanted tonight to be perfect. He knows. he hurt Reid in the time after that first kiss in Dallas. He was definitely going to show his man that those days are over. He wanted Reid to feel as loved and as wanted as he deserves.
After he put the lasagna in the oven he heard Reid unlocking the door. "Honey I’m home" Reid looked at Luke. Smiling as he saw the big grin appearing on the young man's face. Hey you Luke said as he was coming over to give Reid a hug and small kiss. Reid was having non of that he pulled Luke in for a much more passionate kiss. Gently walking to the couch he whispered I’ve been thinking of what we could do with al this privacy loving the blush that painted Luke's face the best shade of red.
But now it was his turn to be pushed when his boyfriend pushed him nearly trough the cushions whilst attacking his mouth and neck. Reid was enjoying the way Luke was taking over kissing him everywhere while he was taking of his shirt and removing his shoes. You're so hot he said while taking back some control as he was taking off Luke's shirt and moving down south planting kisses al over his chest. My turn Luke said pushing Reid's back down again and getting ready to remove the belt of his handsome doctor. That was the moment the oven started beeping to announce that the lasagna was done.
I’m beginning to think that we're cursed this town has it in for me. Don't be silly Reid it just means dinner is ready, are you hungry ? Always but now I’m not interested in food. Would you mind if we just reheat it in an hour or so. There was Luke's signature big dimples smile appearing again.
Luke's eyes became dark with lust. He grabbed Reid's hand and took him to a bed and some privacy.
a hour and a half later the men enjoyed the lasagna sitting close together in the newly purchased robes. Reid already ate 3 portions while Luke was eating very slowly just sneaking bashful looks at his now lover and grinning like a child every time Reid caught his eyes. Reid couldn't wait looking at this picture perfect boyfriend in just his robe. Hurry op Snyder I’m starving for some desert. Oh ok. I have some apple pie or some frozen yoghurt what would you like. I like you Luke. I even love you. The pie can wait come on. Luke pushed his nearly finished plate away and grabbed the hand Reid was offering him. He followed his boyfriend back to his bedroom ready to show him just how much he loves him to.
Just another day but Luke really couldn't think off a day that he felt so happy just hanging out with Reid. But looking forward to many, many more quiet nights just like this.
