The past few months i haven't been feeling great. Work is fine, but it takes up a huge amount of my energy and it utterly exhausts me. I have been drinking a lot more alcohol than i would like to be drinking, and i notice i'm gaining weight as a result, and that just makes me feel even more unhappy, which leads to more drinking. I feel you on the getting charged by mad dogs. Happened to me more than once while cycling in Taiwan.

No shame in being a tourist once in a while. I really loved being able to take the time to stay in one place and do workaways back in 2016/2017, but I doubt I'll ever find the time to do that again. So from now on i'm just a bog standard short stay tourist.
