Hm………
For me, I much prefer Taiwan over China. The people are generally nicer, better mannered, and yes I do indeed prefer reading traditional Chinese. Just: [食麵 and 食面] vs [食面 食面] there is so much more context when it’s written in traditional Chinese.

Good luck with the interviews and job search! 加油!

We call Loving Hut "the cult" also, but god damn...their PHO IS FUCKING AMAZING.

Plus, the owner of the place is just quirky as fuck. She's an odd cookie that was clearly dropped on the floor a few times, but somehow stayed together.

Cult Pho is delicious on a wintery day in Hawaii.

One of the things i like most about Loving Hut (and Govinda's too, but less so in my experience) is that you never really know what you're going to get, aside from something plant-based. I remember the Loving Hut in Toronto was more traditional American health food featuring wraps and so on, but in Panama it was something similar to a Chinese buffet plus some Central American food. In Prague they had Vietnamese food, and i think i might've gotten pho too! Not guaranteed to be the best food wherever you go, but it's always an adventure.
