Since i got back to China i have been wearing all black in solidarity with the Hong Kong protesters the day after each protest. It doesn't count for much, just some laowai on the other side of the bay wearing black on a hot summer's day, but it's my little way of reminding myself that i don't want to get sucked into a bubble where i forget i am

Fortunately the VPN situation has improved since the blackouts around June 4, so i can find out what's going on outside the bubble again. Do you have any specific recommendations? I know absolutely nothing about how to twit.

Sounds like what our Trump said when that white nationalist mowed down a crowd of anti racism protesters and killed a lady.

That was exactly my point. In both cases, one side consists of political protesters who occasionally damage property while the other side consists of authoritarians and bootlickers who harrass, attack, imprison and kill human beings. There is no moral equivalence. It's disgusting that these conservative politicians pretend there is.
