Reading Clay Shirky's "Cognitive Surplus" right now. That last quote about sharing ideas is really reminiscent of the book (he did a TED talk too).

There are so many freaking brilliant people in the world. They walk around disguised as normal joes.. and then they hit you with diamonds and sparkles and revolutions and beer and earth-shaking philosophy and two-sentence summations of life/universe/everything..
