those are some awfully shiny copies of the Twilight books. I'm surprised since they usually get enough circ to be torn up by now.

Don't know about the OP, but at my branch we've been sending them up to Tech for re-jacketing every couple of months. Otherwise, they get grungy and truly disgusting.

I wonder if that patron got to the Paolini books yet. "For Eragon, See Star Wars." That would work. :)

*grin* Before I worked at the library I used to hide the copy of High School Musical 2 behind all the other DVDs in hopes that no one would check it out every again. Sadly my attempts failed, b/c it's still there.

i had a somewhat similar experience lately. a patron returned our copy of the DVD Quills and inside it had a sticky note on the disc that said "HOLT! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WATCHING THIS FILTH!"

I found that amusing.
