Aside from that, I liked some parts of it--mainly the parts that didn't involve someone I didn't know, haha.

I think your writing for those parts is really good. You should try writing with the same style throughout, or maybe try to have the same feeling permeate the piece by using a different verb tense or different point of view. Yeah.

Ahahahaha; I made it a long time ago and couldn't figure out how to make each one longer without having it fade out, so there it is for everyone to be confused about...
