[Wesley had been trying to tidy up the best he could in this dirty dank, dark whole while the others were out. Because of course Cordelia was shopping, Gunn was doing god knows what and he was stuck doing the dirty work. Literally.

Such was a life for a former watcher.

But then the door opened, and he was surprised to see it wasn't someone he knew. They hadn't even decided for a name for their new agency (though really, Wyndam-Pryce Agency had such class to it) so a potential customer was the last thing he expected.

Still, he smiled and rose to his feet and tried not to seem overeager.]
