I have an interview with Northeastern on the 22nd.

Should I wear a white shirt, or a mustard colored shirt? I have ties for each.

(The NE colors are Red and Black, but I don't really want to wear a red shirt.)

EDIT: I have a darkish grey pinstripe suit.

With a grey pinstripe suit, red would actually be pretty awesome. I don't know about mustard, but I think white would be kind of dull. OTOH, you aren't going to offend anyone with white. Which one makes you feel more pulled together and confident?

Yeah, I was gonna say, which one fits better? (I'm inclined towards white, but I trend conservative when going for interviews.)

Yup, I think that's exactly the right question: which one makes you feel better?

And congratulations on the interview! I can't wait to hear how it goes.

I'd wear white, because that's what makes me feel confident going into an interview.

Hah, this reminds me -- I just went to a networking event last week in which one of the panelists reported that he got a job over "the other guy" based on the fact that he was wearing dress socks and "the other guy" was wearing athletic socks. So I think the bar is getting lower every day. :)

Good luck!
