Oh OW! This is wonderfully painful to read -- I adore (yet again!) how you've blended moments from the actual show into what you've written. I love the complexity of the interactions, exspecially with Ray and Chris, whom you give a lot more well deserved attention than they ever received in the series. You sneak up and nail me with the bits and pieces of how all this fits together, and adding in great moments like Sam and Chris in the files room. Fantastic!

Thanks so much! (You saw part 2, right? Just checking.) I wasn't happy w/ this chapter for the longest time. Of all the episodes it was the hardest to adapt into this world, so I mainly used it to bolster the characters and give them a grounding for future eps. I'm really pleased that you enjoyed this aspect of it. Thanks again!
