This is gorgeous; I'm going to treasure it as an early Christmas present! Mr Sexby is beautifully in character, and I notice that as his remembrance becomes more heated so too does the obliquity of his meaning reduce.

I feel sure that now Mr Sexby understands a little more of Manchester customs he will be participating willingly in future; indeed he may never leave. I feel that an episode wherein Sam needs to be shown his duty at pistol point might be quite exciting.

Hi - what an absolutely marvelous take on relating (totally delicious) events from different POVs - I absolutely loved reading this. I also laughed my self sick over the line 'I have shouted at the radio and the man on my television to send you a bouquet, but I have no idea if this was successful'.

How AWESOME is this??? I love it and you for it! Tell the boys I completely forgive them all for missing the party, and I graciously accept Gene's number, because yes I need someone to show me how to do it proper and he's just the man. Of course, he can bring Sam and Edward, they are getting along well after all now, aren't they? And tell Sexby for me, that his letter brought me great joy and eased my worried mind. We will be delighted to receive him at the next party, he and his two new mates.

Also, to Sam...It's okay. I rather like the costume... ;)
