I would love to see a continuation of their story. It's a much gentler version of the dom!Sam/sub!Gene relationship that normally shows up in LoM fic. Thank you.

I'm really quite impressed with how you handled this, because as much as I salivate at the idea of injecting a bit of BDSM into their relationship, I've always had a hard time buying into the idea that Sam and Gene would be into this degree of ritualized sexuality. I think what makes it work is that your Gene is really quite strongly in-character, as is Sam, but Gene's rather matter-of-fact approach to the whole scenario really helps sell it.

And needless to say, it was also really quite fucking hot. Whew, and how. I can only say this much now because I went for a shower right after reading this :P

Thank you! karaokegal will be especially pleased w/ the Gene comment, as he was a bit whumptastic in the original draft. LOL And, I'm quite pleased you think so, too. I got a good taste for writing Gene as 'realistically' as possible during Taken, so it's good to be able to take that over into another element.
