Ooh, cool! I am definitely grabbing one of the composite ones, because I love both your reading voices and I think a composite reading sounds cool. Hmm, I don't quite understand the difference between these two versions, though? Is the story different in the Mystery one, or is it just a different reading?

They're just a different order of the stories. In the Original order reader knows a secret and listens to a character discover it, in the Mystery the listener starts off unknowing and figures it out along with the character.

The only other difference is the Original has both voices trading off in dialogue at one point, which doesn't happen in the Mystery version (because it's a mystery and it doesn't work quite so well when the second voice has been introduced yet).

I hope you enjoy them, whichever one you listen to!

I have thought off-and-on all day about how to express my sheer love for you two, and I'm still not sure I have all the words I want to say.

You two are amazing. I love you. I have been listening to your podficced versions, both the composite and separate readings, off and on in the background all day, and I am so happy and gleeful and thrilled! Under your voices, I feel like the text really comes alive, making everything sound so much more - more intense, more nuanced, more emotional, and it is beautiful and wonderful and I am so, so honored that you and pandarus both decided to read my fics aloud and make them enjoyable for others through another medium.

♥♥♥

Wow. I don't even know what to say in response to that. That is possibly the best, and highest compliment I've ever been paid. I am *so* glad you enjoy the recordings. I'm so happy you were encouraging in us recording them and coming up with crazy composites. Thank you so, so much for your feedback and support and completely wonderful writing in the first place. Thank you. This means a lot. You've really made my day.

I listened to the Mystery Composite version, and it was so beautiful: each part in and of itself, and the combination of the three stories and your voices. Just amazing. I also really loved your choice of music, it felt such a natural part of the narrative, and just the right length between each story to let the text sink in. (On that note, could you tell me which music it is? Especially the first piece is tauntingly familiar).
I think I'll have to download the other versions of the podfic as well, to see what you've done with them. My mind, it has been abducted.

Why thank you! Your comment makes me really happy. I'm so very glad you liked them. *grin*

The music is/are excerpts from The Four Seasons, Op. 8/2, RV 315, "Summer". So if you listen to a Classical music radio station you've most likely heard it.

Thank you so, so much for commenting! I hope the other recordings bring you further enjoyment if you listen to them.
