I'm a new podfic artist, and I have two fics. I'm proud of both of them, but I really enjoyed the ability to include music in the story in both of them. Blue Rubber Band was my first, an AU pre-slash story employing characters from Glee but really about feeling stuck and being inspired to make changes and be a better person. Fasten You to Me is my only Teen Wolf story, Sterek, and is blended with music by the Beatles. I look forward to doing more podfic with better equipment.

1) I have recorded I Can Hear Machinery (Blinding Me With Science) by splash_the_cat and am quite happy with the sound effects - it was the first time that I played with putting in that sort of thing and I enjoy how it turned out. It's a Stargate/Iron Man crossover:

'Five Times Tony Stark Hit on Sam Carter' - rated Teen and Up.

Find it here

2) I am also very fond of the Retrograde series, of which I recorded 8.5 hours of the 11 the series runs in total.
Retrograde is a fantastic Stargate SG1/Atlantis crossover universe in which the Atlantis expedition spends 3 years cut off from Earth, and just before they are finally found, something goes, well, wrong.

You can find a podbook (made by Mific) and links to the individual stories here

I feel silly doing this but I'm desperately proud of "Infrangible Road" by Dayspring. It's a gen Supernatural AU in which John decides to raise his kids in Lawrence before going after the demon. The heart of the story is the interaction between Sam and Dean as they grow up. The original posting of the story had period photos and road sign icons between chapters. I wanted to create a similar effect aurally so each chapter begins with music from the year and the chapter covers are all photos of roads from the chapter setting. It's a great story and I heartily recommend it even if you decide to read for yourself rather than listening to my version. Besides, how often do you see a story that was literally inspired by a word-of-the-day message?
