They don’t get as much attention but there are some great gen podfics to enjoy.  They also have the additional benefit that you can listen to them without creating shock and horror among family and coworkers.  The following podfics are some of my gen favorites (though the selection seems to have ended up far more Supernatural focused than I ( Read more... )

Thank you for this! :) I'm always excited for gen recs.

Wow, I don't know how I missed Dessertion. I think it's floating around on my back-up drive and I just never got around to listening to it. Thanks for the reminder! Also, thanks for reccing Two Boys from Kansas. :)

I love general podfic and I'm looking forward to downloading the Jack and Dean series and The best things in life are blue :)

Just finished listening to the Jack and Dean series and I want to thank you for recommending this gem it truely brought me through my crappy, crappy work day sane. Dessertion while not a sanity saver is one I will relisten to. I really liked the chocolate icing on waffles analogy and the child's calm 'No' when asked if she liked music. Perfectly read.
If anyone is interested the link for the Jack and Dean series connects to Corner of Your Eye, however clicking on the author link shows the rest of the series.
Also for the moment The Best Things in Life are Blue link through the audiofic archive currently downloads 'As Ever' by Helens read by Rhea314 an Xmen most definitely not gen story involving Xavier/Magneto. Good, but as I didn't really look at the title I do have to say it took me an embarrassingly long time to realise there was not going to be any sudden fall into mushy Raven with invisible Hank.

Thank you once more for the recs.
