I feel your pain. I had to reload some files because of leaving out an underscore or a typo in the meta, which meant the files didn't flow together right. I hope it works for you, and thanks for giving it a try.

I had no trouble other than waiting cor each fe to dowload only one at a time. I am home alone a lot though, so it doesn't throw anyone else off if I tie up my bandwidth with podfic for extenfed periods. No big deal. I wound up watching animal planet most of the day s
As i waited for the files. I needed a physical break anywsys yesterday.

So, I was about 3/4 of the way through Point of Contact, music version, and stopped to d'l the Podbook version created by Cybel. I figure it was about time to drop a comment or two. I'm listening to the music version, BTW, and I think the song choice was perfect. I had forgotten this gem, although when I lurked around 852 Prospect years ago, it was definitely one of my favorite AUs. It is so neat to hear it performed, and you do a terrific job with this. All the angst, sexy exposition and yummy relationship development one could want in TS, with your expressive narration, for 12 + hours! I love it. :))

I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying the recording, re-visiting an old favorite. Thanks for listening and giving me feedback, bonus that it's postive feedback.

I just finished listening to Point of Contact. And damn, I was riveted right from the start! Gorgeous story, wonderfully read! I can only bow to your commitment to get such a huge story recorded.

Thank you.

It's nice to get feedback, especially from a fellow podficcer. Jane does write riveting stories.

I'm working on one now that's going to be twenty-nine hours long.(It was a charity podfic) and it's just about killing me.

Re: 29 hours podfic: well, as a podficcers I have admit that the thought alone makes me want to tear up (how long does that even take you to get done? A year? Longer?). But as a listener I am always excited for long podfics. A reader wrapping you up in a story for days, sometimes weeks, at a time. *le sigh*

I think it's been two years. I had some others to do also, but this one is so tough. The bidder was very generous but I'm never offering to do such a long one again. Plus, there's a gazillion characters in the story, and five of them have Irish and English accents, which I debated long and hard about trying to pull off doing (I'm American) but the story makes a lot about their accents, so I'm doing probably horrible accents.

Thanks for letting me cry on your shoulder. If you're not a podficcer then most people don't get what a huge project this is.
