This is ridiculous. It's a lovely occasion and I can understand all the hype in Britain, but I hate to say this, but why should we care? America is outrageously patriotic yet we drool over a very symbol of what our Declaration of Independence rallied against. That leaders and role models are created by the people and can be dismantled at any time

Oh my god, do you need a link? The first two episodes are pretty mind-bendingly awesome. I would stay up to 4 (Central time) to see that. But yeah, I'm glad I am not the only Anglophile that doesn't get it. I'm more like Russell Brand, I suspect. The Queen's just an old lady with a shiny hat.

It is ridiculous and antiquated, but you must admit that it's also ridiculous that your president had to release his long-form birth certificate because some fool with the scariest of all fake hair wouldn't let some fake controversy go.
