Summary: Arthur goes off hunting and leaves Merlin to make up an excuse to the King. Uther punishes Merlin, and Arthur angsts.

This is just... perfect! GAH!!! I'm so in love. Arthur sitting on the bed with his face in his hands... so much emotion there. *clutches heart*

And the beautiful use of shadows and moonlight... with the scars of Merlin's back glowing like they are in a spotlight, only making Arthur feel worse.

Ah, man. I couldn't have asked for art to better portray what happened in this fic. Thank you. *flails* Thank you soooooo much.

marguerite-26's story is one of my favorite h/c stories, and I think your art brilliantly matches her fic. I love how even though I can't see Arthur's face, his grief and angst is still palpable.
