The concept sketch for this one was sitting in my WIP bin for four months. I almost deleted it. I'm kinda glad I didn't it. I used fanartivation 's art war to help me get this piece done.
This came from wanting to draw an older Merlin. He came out looking like the guy who used to sell drugs behind my dumpster in East Vancouver. So now it's turned into kind of a reveal piece.
Arthur saved by Merlin and mistakes him for Balinor? Could be. I just wanted an excuse to flip the "Who do you think you are? The King?" "No, I'm his son" conversation around. Clever me....
This one was very close to never seeing the light of day. It was a sketch back in February and it sat in my WIP bin forever. I decided to give it a chance.
