Your banner puts all others to shame.

Clearly you are an awesome individual, as not only do you have this banner, live in NZ, and like Alias, you made an amazing peanut comment in axver's LJ. Henceforth, consider yourself friended.

Howdy. I came across your Friend's Only Banner via u2 and thought you'd be a cool friend. I see you've added one of my other friends: stolidlimeberry. I'm not as ignorant to kiwi music as other people, but believe me when I say that the Feelers suck and Dunedin music is better than ChCh music. Mind if I add you?

Hee, sure. But keep in mind that I too hated The Feelers until I actually sat myself down and really listened to their second album. Too many people make a superficial judgement based on production or their singles (and they always choose the worst ones, blagh.)

You like Wesley Willis? Does that mean you know of The Frogs too...?

Well I've only heard two songs, "Labyrinth" and "Weapons of War." I never make jusdgements on production. Production usually ruins music, unless it's rap or pop or vocal music.

I've never heard of The Frogs. :(

Ooh, via André, I presume? Anyway, those're from their third album. I like it, but reckon their earlier albums have higher concentrations of awesomeness. :D

Wesley Willis wrote a song about the Frogs (called 'The Frogs', I think :D) and they reciprocated by writing a song named after him. They're... possibly the rudest band on the planet. Never in a derogatory way though. They're musical geniuses and have put out several albums of improvised songs. Dave Grohl, Eddie Vedder and Billy Corgan are all huge fans!

Hee, awesome! You totally have the attitude of The Fly there, yo.

They are kinda silver, mm. Uhm... hey, don't worry. I'll see if I can find some of the u2.com ones on ebay.

Really appreciate your looking, though. Thankyou for your time. :)
