Time abroad is always a good idea. It kept me from withdrawing from school in my third year. That and I look back on the experience often with great pleasure.

Go for it!

I've loved my vacations abroad, and since I'm burnt out on school now as well, this may be the way to go.

May I ask where you went? Sounds like you had fun! :)

I went to the SudTirol region in Italy. Mainly, Northern Italy up in the alps. I stayed in a castle called Brunnenburg with the de Rachewiltz family, aka Ezra Pound's daughter and grandchildren and great-grandkids...

It was an amazing trip... Here, these are the posts in my journal that tells of the adventures! I wrote just about everyday, but was only able to post once a week due to having to go down the mountain to get internet. [since then, I've found out, that the castle has wireless... I liked the walk down. It was beautiful.] If you want to see pictures of the trip, just let me know!

I hope it works out for you. I always wanted to do that but never could afford it and now I wonder if I will ever just travel there.

Thanks, I'm trying to make it work.

Go for it! It's not nearly as expensive as I always thought it was, and once I did it the first time, I had to go back! ;)

That semester sounds completely, completely amazing. I'm actually a little jealous. XD

Fingers crossed I can save enough for it over the next several months--then you can come to visit! ;)
