Also are you kidding me, girl. I have no idea what I am doing with Dan's writing. I always feel like everything I write as his 'writing' is super corny. Or maybe Dan is super corny. Lol. Anyway, I also feel that I fail super hard at it, so no worries.

It's just so perfect. The way you write Serena (all of them really, but Serena in particular) never fails to amaze me. I wish I could more eloquently express myself, but seriously, this is truly wonderful. It's heartbreaking and warming, painful and touching. There is just so much love here, between everyone. It changed over the years, but it was always there, and no one love is superior, just different, special. I don't know, it's just perfect.

There's something so quiet and peaceful and right about the way its written. It's lightyears away from canon because everyone's content, and everything means something, and leads somewhere.

I really liked the callback to the ball and to Cece, it's one of those Derena classic moments, and it's nice to have it revisited this way (as opposed to, you know, a sex tape being released...) Hell, you put more thought on the books' titles than the writers did on the whole show!
