Trivia : John Wetton, lead singer of the rock group Asia, sang "Winner Takes It All" for the movie, but after performing the song, it was felt that his voice wasn't "mean" enough, so the song was offered to Sammy Hagar, whose version ended up being the one on the soundtrack. -- derralf

It's an awful movie, but I have a soft spot for it in my heart full of 80s nostalgia. Watched it on Netflix streaming a couple weeks ago for the first time in a long time. I remember when it used to be on TBS once a month back before they decided that Roadhouse was way cooler.
