Well, I can definitely say this semester has proven to be the toughest I've had yet, and we're only on week 2. Ouch. Basically, I have a test on any given week of the semester, most of the time as many as 3 EACH WEEK! That means, so far we have been in class for 10 days, and I've had 5 test/quizes already. Kill me

Putting an IV in a dog or cat can be a pain; I can't imagine doing it to a person. We had a standard poodle with a resistant staph infection that ripped out his IV saturday at work and I had the worst time with him. He had veins like swiss cheese and was dehydrated from not getting his fluids. And of course I had to wear a gown, gloves, shoecovers, etc while dealing with him. He ended up with two very badly blown front legs, so we had to put in a jugular IVC, which wasn't pretty either. It took three people trying before someone got the thing placed. But I'm sure you will do fine, at least it is just one species to deal with. Practice, practice, practice...
