I can tell it's the first week after my period. It's like clockwork. I'm irritable, can't concentrate on anything, none of my favorite things keep my interest long ( Read more... )

It sounds to me like it's mostly your job. You will probably find one that you like eventually, but you have to try different places when you are able.

Yeah, it's just hard staying patient and to keep looking.

I'm sorry you're sad!

Have you spoken to your doctor about this? I have a very similar problem, and apparently it's possible to get very slight hormone therapy to keep from emotionally crashing around one's period. I'm pretty excited at the idea, myself.

I don't really have a doctor to be honest and I can't go to the family practice clinic because it's not in-network and after my last experience with the 300 dollar bill for a pap smear and blood test (the total bill was actually 900) I'm kind of gunshy at the moment about doctors. Can't afford another bill like that. But even with my ups and downs I will say things are still better on the pill than off for me.

Hugs and I think a bit more rest and getting this one paper off my plate will go a long ways towards helping. (that and time)

I'm sorry--I had forgotten about your post saying that just about every doctor in your area was out of network. :(

Hugs back to you, and I hope the paper goes quickly and well!

thanks! and I don't know why I'm hesitant to visit the big hospital...I just know I was more comfortable with family practices.

You'll find a job that you'll enjoy sooner or later. Though just in case you don't, you can still find happiness during your free time. But I think you're feelings are normal. For now you're stuck in a job you don't really like so you worry that this might be the way things go for you. But I don't think that'll be the case. You'll find your niche. =)

Also, I hear Voyager doesn't hold up when you watch it the second time around.

thanks and you're right, I just need to hang in here.

Have you heard anything about DS9 and re-watching??? I'm not sure if it passes the test of time either. But I do have that downloaded.
