It sounded lovely from what I read, and it's pretty close to Toronto and Niagara Falls, so it should be a good place to be. :) The rent is also pretty reasonable.

Thanks! I have crowd issues, but I think once I get there and hear a few papers I'll feel better. Either I'll be thinking, "Phht, I'm as smart as any of these people," or "Well, there's no way I can top that, so I'll look like an idiot regardless of how well I say this," and either is a pretty good deterrent from anxiety. Although I'd PREFER the first, ha.

And yeah! After so long I was surprised to hear from her (much less about MARRIAGE), but I think that'd be pretty cool. I *might* be able to go with Ray. :)

You guys should come! St. John's is beautiful, and I know she'd love to see you - as would I. And I will definitely be around, as I am Sarah's best man. :)

It's mostly a matter of timing and money. We'd both like to go, I think, especially if we can both go and make a road trip of it/split some costs. But I just dropped/am about to drop a total of $3000 on travel this summer (partly for my cousin's wedding and career stuff, unavoidable), so suffice it to say my savings are pretty tapped on that front for a while, and Ray's got her wedding/moving in with the wife to think about, cost-wise.

If it's within the realm of possibility, we'll make it. :) I didn't know you were the best man. That's awesome!
