I hate when people act like I'm not meeting their dress code, at least if I'm "borderline". I mean, if you were in ripped jeans or showing a lot of skin, yeah. But when they're very not busy like that? Bleh. Jerks.
For #2, I would say it depends how classy the place is. If the valet company is very professional, at least one of them should be able. If it's just a general valet, I wouldn't count on it.
But that's just my guess, I could be completely wrong.
also, i hate the converse experience, where you go to a nice place and you're dressed appropriately but everyone around you is in jean shorts. It makes me feel like such a little kid playing at grown-upness, like im missing something.
