I hope you enjoyed your trip to Russia; my dad went two or three years ago and loved it. It looks so beautiful from the photos I have seen.

if you stand before the Smolny cathedral you can imagine how heaven must look like ! i saw many fairy tale castle's like Neuschwanstein in Bavaria (the model for Disney's Sleeping beauty) but the one in Tsarskoje Selo (by Catherine the great) is simply overwhelming (don't forget to see the dreamlike amberroom!!)
