Post 4 [Filtered to Weiss]

[Guess who got on the wrong end of a fight with the Yeti? Yep, this guy. Nagi's shirtless only to use the Dreamberry to show off the deep, scabby gouges on his back that he can't reach to bandage. His power's completely drained and that's probably obvious from how utterly exhausted he looks when he moves the Dreamberry and the fact that he's ( Read more... )

conflicted much?, still hates weiss, actually lost a fight

[On the one hand, mortal enemy who laughed at him when he picked up that card.

On the other, Nagi had told him about... that.

He really doesn't want to help him. But maybe... Maybe he can get a little more information out of what that dream was about.]

...Yeah. I'll do it. Where are you?

Somni's residential district -- one of the estates. I'll wait at the gate to unlock it.

[Why does he have an estate to himself? Because Schuldig got it and then vanished.]

[Pause.]

Understood. Send the coordinates to my Dreamberry. I'll be there shortly.

I appreciate it.

[He sends them, forces himself to pull on a shirt and jacket, and heads out to the gate so Omi can get let in once he arrives.]

[Omi arrives in a timely fashion with a backpack slung over his shoulder. Expect that he is carrying concealed weapons as he usually does. Also expect that he's alerted Youji where he's going and asked him to call a few minutes in just to confirm he's not been ambushed: if he doesn't answer, something is wrong.

He nods to Nagi on arriving and slips past the gate, eyes and ears on full alert.]

Is anything still bleeding?

[He doesn't expect Omi to go anywhere, much less to the enemy's home, without weapons somewhere on him. Nagi's not silly enough to think Weiss has dropped their caution in Somarium, especially since strange things happen regularly.]

The scabs on my back crack a little when I move, but nothing's bleeding more than that.

[A curt nod. Omi starts for the home in a slow walk, eyes still on Nagi.]

Has everything been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected?

I took a shower, but that's the only cleaning I've been able to manage. I'm too drained.

[He opens the door and leans against it for a moment as he heads inside. The broken window's been repaired by now and otherwise, it's kept pretty simple.]

We'll start with that then. Lie down on your stomach.

Alright.

[He winces as he pulls his shirt off again and sets it down on the back of the couch before he tries to get comfortable on his stomach. Thankfully those bruises aren't as bad as the gouges on his back and he can attempt to ignore the pain.]

[Always best to take care of the most severe injuries first. While remaining alert, Omi sinks to a crouch at Nagi's side and sets his bag at his right side. He opens it and pulls out the First Aid kit, which he also opens and sets beside him.

The wounds on Nagi's back look pretty nasty. Fixable, but quite painful. He douses a sterile pad in antiseptic and grabs a pair of tweezers.]

This is going to sting. Try to keep still.

I know it will.

[He reaches down to squeeze one of the cushions since there's nobody here to grab even if he'd wanted another person to touch right now.]

Why did you decide to help out, anyway?

[Omi presses the pad into the nearest wound without answering.

For some time, he cleans in silence, leaving it uncertain whether he's refusing to answer or simply struggling to. His method is careful and practiced; clearly this is a familiar task for him (and you can probably thank Ken for that, too). His hand is steady. He examines for foreign objects and debris in each wound, using the tweezers to carefully remove anything he finds. Ideally such a task would be reserved for medical professionals, but legally dead assassins tended to avoid turning up at hospitals whenever possible. Nagi, too, had made it clear he didn't want the help of a resident doctor.

After a minute or so, Nagi gets his reply.]

I want you to tell me more about that dream.

[He winces as the antiseptic starts to sting, but Nagi doesn't move or make any more noise. Cleaning wounds always sucks and he's used to that by now. At least Omi doesn't seem likely to chide him for carelessness like any of Schwarz would if they were the ones helping him out instead.

Not going to one of the doctors here was habit more than anything; people trying to bring down what's left of an organization can't do anything that might let said organization know where they are.]

At home, Schwarz became a three person group. Between that and hearing about your choice to help the only surviving Takatori, I had a lot on my mind and it hasn't gone away.

[It's not the whole story, but it's a start.]

[Yes, it is a start. And Omi intends to see that it continues.

He stops at the mention of a surviving Takatori. This is, in fairness, because he doesn't trust his hands right away. As if it weren't enough to learn Schwarz had lost one of its members (how? Through death? He wondered if it was Crawford). But a choice he'd made-- would make-- to help a Takatori...

There was one left? He still had family?

Questions are racing through his mind. He really needs to talk to Aya. Really needs to. But for now, Nagi is the one here. And Nagi may know some things Aya doesn't.

When he feels his hands have stabilized enough to continue, he does.]

Surviving Takatori... Who? And what happened to Schwarz?

[It takes a few seconds to come up with the name. He'd only seen it mentioned a couple of times and even then, only in passing since the articles were more focused on the sudden reappearance of Mamoru and speculation of where he'd been most of his life.]

Saijou. I believe he's Reiji and Shuichi's father.

As for Schwarz...Farfarello fell in love and decided to stay with her after saving her from Eszett members.

[Okay, they'd sorta abandoned Farf and Sally to be taken care of by medical professionals, but he hadn't returned to them after he got better.]
