oh god

oh god.

I learn from gabby_silang's comment thread that Peter Wingfield is in fact starring with SPN's Misha Collins in a SyFy ... original movie ... Stonehenge Apocalypse.

I had planned on skipping it. Until I found out about Wingfield DAMMIT WINGFIELD.

I made it through Highlander: the Source relatively unscathed, right? I can do this.

highlander, flicks

Misha Collin and Peter Wingfield starring together in a B-movie? I think the resulting fangirl squee may indeed bring on the apocalypse.

I'm going to DVR it. I watch everything Peter does no matter how bad it is - the show or movie - not Peter. And I adore Misha. I'm not real optimistic however, since Peter encouraged us to miss it and really didn't want to talk about it. He says he plays a Scientist who doubts and you just know it's going to be bad. *hee* Now I really want to see it.

Poor guy. I hope they paid him enough for it to be worth something.

You did not know!?!? I have been waiting for the sheer badness this is going to be! Peter and Misha in the same godawful movie. Peter didn't even want to talk about it at the con, so I'm expecting stupefying levels of cracktastic badness.

oh god I missed it somehow, or repressed it. like Peter probably wishes he could.

Haha! Have you seen the trailer? It's going to be GLORIOUS.

(And Torri Higginson from Stargate Atlantis is in it, too!)

*starts stocking up on alcohol*

Your civic duty as a world citizen deiseach May 31 2010, 21:34:04 UTC
For those of us unfortunate enough not to live in America and thus being unable to view this work of televisual magnificence, you will have to do your duty and watch this so that you can report on it for us.

If it lives up (down?) to the trailer, it'll be something special. Given the cheap effects for Stonehenge, I am breathless with anticipation just how cheesy the Mayan pyramids and Eastern Island statue effects are going to be - maybe they'll just show stock photos of them in a tv news bulletin clip?

Going by this preview, it'll be fun to play "Spot the Rip-Off/Cliché":
