I was rewatching bits of the movie with my sister on her iPod yesterday - the Fireman's Ball in particular - and for some reason it was the first time I really registered Pepper's incredulous note in her 'Are you here by yourself?' when Tony sashays up to her. It's subtle and sharp and just. Oh.
