Fun ficlet. Absent a moral dilemma, I think that Duncan would secretly (or not so secretly) enjoy anything that made Methos that pissy.

You know, in Til Death, Duncan seems to be very pleased with Methos's irritation. I always rather think that they both enjoy each other's misery.

Duncan would convince Methos to do something stupid (like, oh, revealing his true identity to Richie), and Methos would do it because Methos has this odd compulsion to do just about anything Duncan tells him to, even when it lowers his chances of survival. And Duncan knows this and takes advantage of it for April Fool's Day.

Methos falls for it.

Then Methos convinces Connor to help him get a little revenge, because Connor can always pwn Duncan, anywhere, any time.
