I think maybe my writerly mojo might be on its way back. I've got my fingers crossed. There are a couple of things percolating. Meanwhile, here's a stab at that personal canon meme, as quigonejinn recently posted hers and it was so much fun to read.

Man, I just love reading these. Yours are terrific. I love the one about Tony's playboyhood becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy; that's pretty much exactly Tony's biggest problem.

Hell, what's he going to do now? He may have his heart in the right place, but he *still* doesn't know business.

Thank you! Yeah, that's how I see him. He never really knows what he's doing, unless he's building something. I think it's the difference between movie Tony and comics Tony, actually.

Oh, my... #2 and #3 just cracked me up. Imagining Tony trying to milk a cow... or running away to join a carnival... LOL! And he does seem contrary enough to pull #3.

Howard Stark was not as naive as his son.

Number 10 makes me nervous. But yeah.

yeah, there's a lot of things about tony/pepper that make me nervous!

I think what decided me about Maria is just the fact that she's been so totally erased from his life.

I'm not sure Howard was as amoral as Obie turned out to be, but I think that they both believed what they were doing was right.

Tony secretly harbored a fantasy where he ran away and joined a traveling carnival as their resident mechanic and mad scientist. I want to read that fic. Right now.

#3 and #6 seem absolutely in character for Tony.
