oh LOOK at those darling bebe's!!!!!!!! they are totally precious. :) That's so wonderful that you open your home and heart to take care of these animals. It's also a good thing you have your energy back because with puppies, it's definitely needed! lol Our puppy exhausts me after about fifteen seconds. I wish I had some of their energy sometimes... I can't even imagine what it takes to win a dog's trust the way that you do, with lots of them coming from such horrible situations. With a lot of love, I am sure. Katya is lucky to have such a wonderful home to call her own now. ♥
And I couldn't agree more - their love is totally better than any therapy a dollar bill could possibly buy.
I just read it, last night when I got home our minds were in more RL matters and no one told me it had happened! OMGZ! This is the best thing since... since... since the last time the fugly was defeated!!! Go Murray!!! (not a fan but I just have to love him right now, gutsy kid)
Sometimes they trust you immediately, sometimes it takes a lot of time, sometimes they never really recover. Well, they recover their good mood and their love for life, but not their trust in human kind. It's a shame, but out of 115 (more or less) dogs, we just have three that will bite you if you touch them, and one that fears us and will be happy with other dogs but won't let you get near her. But it's a low number I think, out of some of the cases we have to see there. Katya will do fine, I'm sure, she's already starting to want us to pet her, she's just too nervous. But she'll do fine :) *huge hugs and smooches*
Ah, forgot to say this: Lia saw teh Rafa smile and said "aaawww, he's so cute I wanna put him in my pocket" LOL, I believe this is one thing you *don't* have in common with her. :-))
OMG the puppies! It's true, they run and run and nap, nap, nap...My basset hound was insomniac when he was a puppy, though. Those were difficult times...:-)
Well... that's not the pocket I wanna put him in XDDDDD Aaaaah, let's hear it for me and my horrendous cheesay pun!
Huh. An insomniac puppy sounds just like the worst nightmare ever. These two have to learn that they must sleep at nights and wreck havoc by days. Not the other way around. I think that they're getting the hint. I think our neighbours are as well, they look like they're all sleeping better these last days ^^;
