At least today I didn't work so I'm not as tired, maybe I'll manage to keep my eyes open to put the DVD in and record it and then collapse dead on my bed.

I hate the Rafashirt too. It looks like either a skeleton has a grasp on him, or someone tried to shred his shirt from behind. Can't they just leave blue alone?! Because I want to dive into its hue.
It makes me mental that movies aren't released nationwide on the same day. It makes no sense to me whatsoever!!!! And they just premiered it in Spain yesterday - why can't they play it over the whole country?! I need to go put a beatdown on someone, immediately. *rolls up sleeves*
And I will be over shortly with some supremely cold iced coffee, to keep you awake for the Rafa. I'll need some myself. *packs up summer heat life saving equipment*
Ooh! What do you think of that lhasa de sela cd??
Reply
Oh bring on that iced coffee, I almost pulled something out of place from the complete spazz I fell into after moving everything out of its shelves and not finding any coffee left *takes a deep breath*
In the timeless words of Master House: No! I'm not addicted!
I adore Lhasa. Her sound is so haunting and unique. I know now from where I know her, it wasn't from my mom, it was from Due South, dude. Wisdom from tv series, priceless. One of her songs played in an episode and I began searching for her stuff but couldn't find anything. The song was De cara a la pared, and I remember googling her but not finding out anything besides that she was Canadian-Mexican so that's why she has both Mexican sounds and Yukon territory sounds in her music. Beautiful. Thank you <

Canadian-Mexican, that is an interesting geographical combo. It explains that colder vein that runs through her stuff. I am so happy to find someone that likes her. Every time I've tried to play her for someone to hear, they make a face. Kind of a Rafa-presser-eyebrow kind of a face, only not so pleasant. I just think she's completely different from anything I've heard before. There's nobody she reminds me of at all, and I really like listening to her. yay!

If it is of any condolence - I have to wait even longer, I think August 21 or 24, I am not sure right now. But yes, Germany sucks really hard. Gah. I hate that they are doing that to me, I love BATMAN, I adore Christian Bale, and I am looking forward to that movie. Especially when reading the reviews on my f-list. *pouts* I WANNA GO NOW! *stomps*
That TC crashed out that early in Toronto surely was the icing on a cake this week. *grows devil horns*

And Batman is my fave comic hero. Because he's a psycho XD and as much as I love Burton and his scary vision of Gotham and the bat, it wasn't the kind of gritty darkness the whole comic's environment and characters hold, it's almost a total hopelesness, and while Burton is way dark, it's not the right shade of dark... and I'm not even gonna acknowledge the other attempts at the batsuit, yeck. But Batman Begins, oh god, I loved it. I love Christian and I love Gary and Liam and Morgan and Michael, dude, the cast is awesome and so does the atmosphere in the film and the directing. And yes, with all the thumbs up from the people whose opinion I value I'm about to have a seizure here from wanting to watch DK so baaaaaaaad.

But don't let me start sulking about how terribly angry I am about having to wait until the 7th of August to see TDK because I see there are folks who have to wait even more. What I'm even more pissed about though is that I'm not sure I can catch it subtitled and I'll have to watch it dubbed. *shudder* It's blinking at me from the computer and I'm seriously considering watching it - hey, it's the end of my rope here! I've been waiting since Batman Begins, people!!!
(Okay, I have to admit that watercolorblue's icon of Rafa with the blue headband cheered me up a little.)

I hear you. I actually have downloaded it, crappy cinema recording, dubbed, not Spain's dubbing, which as far as dubbings goes, it's pretty good, lots of attention to details and the quality of sound, but Latin American dubbing. And I went as far as watching the first two minutes. And I had to force my hand onto the mouse to stop myself from completely ruining my first watch. I AM desperate for it. But I do want it to be good, so I'm either waiting until it reaches the cinema, or until I find an original version one.
Mwahehehe, Rafa's Evil!chipmunk face is all kinds of awesome.
