NOLELOOOOOOVE!!!

I had to leave in the middle of the fourth set to take Lia's friend to the airport. I still can't believe that. Had to keep calling my uncle to know how it was going and *squealed* in the middle of a crowded airport.

Ahem.

How was the trophy presentation?

XD
Sadly I did not see the trophy ceremony. Nor the match. I have the channels but my dad stayed up all night and he's been asleep in the living room with the door closed, er, since I've been awake. So I couldn't see anything. I followed it on the live score but I have hopes I'll see it if they repeat it later.

NOOOOOOOOOOLE ILU.

I can't stop thinking that it could be a Rafa-Nole final. That would be all different kinds of great. But either way, congratulations to Tsonga. :)

Yes! It's awesome for tennis that the youngsters are coming so strong, it makes for a more balanced fight for the top spots. It's encouraging to see they believe in their chances and are losing the fear of fighting for the titles with the top two *adores the Nole right now*

Oh, the Jacuzzi!Rafanole icon? I made it. If you want it you can take it. Just give me credit if you use it plz *is an attention whore*

Oh I have faith in Rafa reaching the number one spot before the competition reaches his numbers.
And if not I can always kidnap Nole for a couple of months and use him in highly pervy acts of carnality XD

*iz so proud of him with you*

Our baby. He's finally won his first Slam *tears up*

There is a beautiful image of him kneeling on the court and kissing it at getty and I can't get it ;___; As soon as I get it from somewhere else I'm adding it 'cos that image is just... well, almost as awesome as Guga drawing a heart on the RG clay. Touching. *hugs*

But how can a fan of Rafa's be a fan of Novak's, when it is obvious the one can't stand the other, and the feeling is - quite apparently, to anyone who observes closely - mutual?

Where did you get this from plz? As far as I know, Rafa and Nole get along just fine. Rafa sends Nole champagne at restaurants and they get in jacuzzis together. Neither has ever been anything but courteous (to say the least) about the other - contrary to Mr. Pradapants, who for a long time had *nothing* nice to say about Rafa, in fact quite the opposite: accused him of cheating and being...wait, wait, here it comes..."one-dimensional".

From that you concluded that they can't stand each other? It was basically "I don't know him well, I don't hang out with him, he's a nice guy", no?

Well, yeah, after he embarrassed himself by being the biggest jackass sore loser in 2006, he eventually learned how to behave toward his most important opponent. Rafa wasn't too happy about those comments at the time, either ("It's easy to be classy when you win all the time, it's a different story when you lose.", or st to that effect).

My point is only this: there was a time, not too long ago, when everyone knew that Rafa and that dude couldn't stand each other. That is not the case with Rafa and Nole, never has been.
