Dudes from Eurosport Spain:

FUCK.YOU.
I can understand that yesterday you cut the transmission of Rafa's match on the third set to go the the Roddick match, as much as I hate you for it I can understand it to a point, even when I don't agree to it at all, after all it's EUROsport SPAIN, and I'm not gonna delude myself thinking that you jumped ( Read more... )

XD I love me some Pythons as well.

Oh the forsaken tv coverage. I don't mind that they skip to the other courts from time to time, and sometimes those under the top ten give some major upsets to the big seeds playing some classy tennis and kicking their butts (it's what keeps them on their toes, mwahehe), so I don't mind if they cover bits of their matches or their whole matches even. But NOT when Rafa is playing. I mean, I could get it if we had an american channel coverage, that they follow Ginepri or Roddick or Serena. But I don't get it being it a European channel and even more, the Spanish branch of it! It's silly to think that the public at home is the slight bit interested in watching enything that is not Rafa when he's playing. ARGH. *fumes* *hugs*

Oh, dude, with what I've been hearing from everyone, I have to be thankful for the coverage I'm getting. They even managed to show the Brazilians' matches in the first round (even though I really didn't need to see that). It's that they have people on site, so they can choose what they're going to show, and apparently they're a bit more sensible than most...sports tv...people.

Today we got Rafa (the whole match), then they went to Marat (last set), and only when Marat's match was over did they go to Roddick (and I'm more and more convinced that this guy is an arrogant little bastard corn-flakes-boy, he and Darth Fugly deserve each other wtf).

But tommorow...damn european cup...they're going to interrupt coverage to show England vs. I forgot who in a meaningless qualifying game. *hates*

Oh you got to see my baby *sniffles* was my imagination on overdrive or did he actually play a bit... "conservative" today? From the last ten minutes I saw, I mean, he was maybe a bit tired for all I know and maybe he played like a machine through the first set... oh damn you eurosport *snarfles*

Roddick IS an... wait, this deserves a Ctrl+C: arrogant little bastard corn-flakes-boy with no manners, and no skills, who yes, deserves to be under the eternal torture of being the sex slave of the creature *squicks self*. I was in rage yesterday, I'm not that fond of Verdasco lately, but I'll be damned if he wasn't playing some powerful tennis out there, he had attitude, he had the shots and the strenght and almost everytime he could return Roddicks serve he won the point. But of course, then come the aces and of course Verdasco got tired, he ran out of fuel in the fifht. Try putting the racket under 220 average speed serves and answer them and I guess you'll end up pretty tired. Argh. How I hate him.

Man, that sucks indeed!! Seriously, I can't understand how they could rob you of Rafa and show Haas vs Ginepri instead. It's understandable if they do that here in Germany, but in SPAIN?! That's really beyond me. I didn't get to see a lot of Rafa, anyway, as they decided to show other matches instead. *sobs* They even did a better job last year, when they showed at least the matches vs Jenkins and Blake in full length, but this year, my USO tape runs approximately 4hrs ... :o( One.Single.Tape. Great. *narf*

And the commentators here suck even more than last year, they are picking on Rafa for each and every little thing he does. They wouldn't do that to FedEx, he'll get the praise all over, even IF he had a rare bad day, he'd still be God. *roll eyes*

Gracias for murdering the USO 2006, EuroSport!

And YAY for Marat!! *claps hands*

I think I'm getting it now. See they've launched this new feature in their web page, which enables you to watch with no commercials or cuts, the matches on five of the main courts. Of course you have to pay, like the Masters Series TV. But first, we don't get all the coverage for the masters series and their site adds interviews and other features you don't get on tv, so it's worth it. Eurosport only gives you the matches, when they should show them complete on tv. This is just a cheap attempt from them to get us to pay for the matches we want to see, it's clear, they picked the one match no one here would be interested in seeing *rolls eyes*
I just hope they'll show his quarters match. Effing EFF.

At least my commentators would never pick on Rafa. Unless they're named Alex Corretja *kicks Alex* but all the rest love him. Figures XD

Could be that Rafa is on PayTV Online now. *narf* Another reason is that EuroSport is located in Paris, and they usually decide from there which matches are being shown, and hardly ever change their schedule ... (happened last year, though, when it was Clijsters vs Mueller instead of Rafa vs Reynolds - which was to be seen everywhere with the exception of good ole G), so maybe that's another reason. But it pisses me off beyond belief, really.

EuroSport really sucks donkey balls, if you ask me. They claim to be the Number 1 channel in tennis. My ass. For the WTA tour, it might be true, but ATP? Forget about it. *roll eyes*

Do you still get Canal+ or whatever that channel was called where you were watching and recording from last year and earlier this year? :o/

Oh, and Marat is not in the quarters yet - but he will be after he beats Mardy Fish's husband *rolls eyes*. I was not impressed with Haas today. I hope he's really tired from playing 5 sets mwahahaha *rubs hands evily* *sends killer banana and throws the peel on the floor for good measure*

And Marat is getting his beauty sleep now. *points to icon*
(dude, they showed a close up of Marat today...he's a bit sun burned and his eyes were soooo green, and Lia and I went into kind of a state of shock at that image :-))

Ack, you're right, his was just a third round match! *blushes*corrects post* thank you :B

I'm never been impressed with Haas, to tell you the truth I've never really liked him. He was good at the AO against the creature, but I feel for him just like I feel for Fish. I just don't get what all the fuzz is about *shrugs* Yes, Marat'll be in quarters, oh yes.

I'm searching for Marat pics as I type, other reports keep repeating that he's more beautiful than ever right now. I wanna seeeee

I'm very sorry for me as well XD
But this can't work well for them, they're not showing our super star champion! It's ridiculous. Let's hope they'll show his next matches, there'll be less excuses not to show them then, so we'll be watching them closely. And if they don't show him still, we'll... we'll hack into their system. And cause damage. Or something.
