I explained in a journal post several years ago, but I was actually Aiba-baited when he first started to be on Junior magazines and TV shows! ;) From there, I found Matsujun, and he had my heart for a decade or so. But a few Arashian friends lured me into Yellowdom and the rest was history <3

Thank you so much for translating this. I'm literally crying at work reading his interview. My colleagues looked at weirdly.

"...To be honest, I don’t know what kind of life I would have led if I hadn’t become an idol. I stuck out like a sore thumb in society and among the majority [laugh]. If I remained the same person I was before all this, I probably wouldn’t have fit into society, wouldn’t have relations with others, and would have most likely stayed at home and rotted away...." This part hit me the most. I'm so glad he has arashi <3
