thanks so much for sharing this. i love that Nino continues to push JE and what it means to be an "idol." he definitely has helped expand it to include more of the acting responsibilities. i think this award is well-deserved, and i am still ever impressed with his raw talent in even his older works such as in "Ao no Honoo" and "Takkonkinkreet." and, true to form, he remains a little cheeky with his words. :)

I love how you put it: to "push JE and what it means to be an idol." When he agrees to a role, I feel he always approaches the project with JE and Arashi on his shoulders. It is not HIS critics with which he is concerned, but the ones who, through him, judge the management or group of which he is a part. I don't think he'd have it.

Oooh, Ao no Honoo most definitely needs more accolades! It's one of my favorites from his younger works ;)

He wouldn't be the Nino we know without a dash (or ten) of his cute, snarky touch. <3

I was sooo happy when knowing that he won the award last night! I've always been a fan of his acting after I watched Yamada Taro, my first Nino's drama, and I didn't even know about Arashi at that time XD
