Anyone else have difficulty looking at the new blue-purple Christmas lights? To me they seem disconnected from the universe, and they float before me, as if they've discovered a new plane of space to exist in

I have the same problem with the new blue-purple lights. Never worry! You are never alone!(At least not all the time)

It's not just you; it's everyone! Blue LEDS are often nigh-impossible to focus on, because the wavelengths they emit are so short (often on the very edge of visible light), and so your eye is not particularly sensitive to them.
