I'm sure most everyone here has heard about it by now because of Penny Arcade, if nothing else, but still... a Firefly MMO? It's another one of those situations where the realistic part of me shudders, while one tiny part of my brain jumps up and down, screaming with glee and throwing something around. I'm not sure what. Maybe bananas?

Saw that this morning. i absolutly agree. i think it will bomb like an automatic bombing machine but something in me still wants it to be awesome.
If they can give it the playability of eve they might have somthing. but i have this horrible image of the matrix mmo running through my head.

I'm watching this with interest. If any of the MMOs was going to get me, that would be it.

Part of me is hoping. So bad. Because I missed out on playing the table top Serenity game w/ my friends because I moved 4 hours away right when they bought it, so maybe, if this doesn't turn out to suck, we can play together this way.

I know, I know, I had the same reaction here. My realistic side is scolding me...
but.... I wanna be Inara. :(

Reality is over rated. I want my Firefly! If I ever played Eve it would be to pretend i was like Captain Mal anyway. And if i ever played WOW it would...well i would never play WOW. But i would jump on these two MMO's in a heartbeat:
