July 2: Dinner somewhere. I would love to begin our jaunt by having a Ricard aperitif at Pastis in the Meatpacking District (that is what I did when I arrived in NYC for my b-day 2 years ago; it could become a tradition

I am open to whatever. The most important thing to me is that I find time to see a few of my friends. Ian will be spending the 4th with us. He'll do whatever we do. I'll need to catch lunch with Roxane on Tuesday. And Bethany will probably come hang out with us at some point or I can sneak away to spend some time with her if it's easier. There are other friends, but those are the important visits. I may invite others to drinks or something.

If you want, I can fill our whole weekend with fun stuff and good restaurants. I LOVED living in New York and know it like the back of my hand. Maybe I'll send you a long list. I made one a long time ago. It's on my home computer. I'd also love to get some Indian food at Vatan one night, if possible.
