I know Ozoko sold his account and got maybe $500 for it. A few jobs past 60, good gear on his main, and a few mil in the pocket as well, from what I remember.
Not worth it in my opinion. My friend sold his because he was getting married and wanted a clean break from FFXI. He sold his gil and account seperately.

Gil (didn't find out amount but must have been quite a lot cuz he had HQ bard JSE except body. And other miscellaneous goods - USD 500
