Awwww! I think you'd pull her off awesome! She's from the new Kingdom Hearts DS game, right? And warm costumes for winter conventions are always an incredible idea. Please don't be stupid like I was last Ohayocon and decide to make a distinctly summery costume (read as: Alita Tiala) then find out the skywalk from your hotel to the convention center is closed for repairs and you have to walk outside for a while on a huge, iced over, circular cement stairway to get to the con. (:| I... I was so very cold. (Thank goodness trickssi was there to rub my hands warm haha
Really though, all goofiness aside, it is a great idea to dress appropriately even in cosplay. :) I ended up getting a crazy wicked headache cold and felt miserable most of Saturday for it. It's the only time I've ended up feeling sick at a convention, and I'll never play that temperature game again XD
YES XD Apples to Apples is AWESOME. It was so much fun, and we had a lot of laughs. ^___^
Yup, she's from the brand-spankin' new DS game. :D Xion's her name! I can't play it yet though, because I'm still working on II! Aggghh! So very frustrating, because I was an idiot and bought the game anyway XD
Oh my gosh, haha. That sucks about the cold! I shivered just thinking about it. XD But at least Alita sounds like a fun cosplay. She was such a nut! ;D I would've stayed indoors like, forever. In fact, this is what I plan to do at Anime USA at the end of the month when I bring Iris!Dollie.
That, and steal Chris (bf)'s Feenie!sweater XD I don't know if I ever told you! He is totally doing college!Phoenix for this con! Can you believe he's going to transition from Jake to Feenie? Haha, it's going to be HILARIOUS.
I'll be honest, I can't even imagine it. But we'll see how it goes XD
I think stealing your Feenie's sweater sounds like an absolutely fabulous idea! >:D Especially if you're going to be wearing your dahlia!Iris OR a Dahlia herself costume.
And I love that he's transitioning from Jake to Feenie! XD Those character shifts are always such a blast. Actually, Jake was the first Ace Attorney character solstice_wind was going to cosplay with me, but since I opted for detective!Ema instead of young!Ema, he thought it'd be more hilarious if he went with Klavier. :) But some day we'd still love to do those two.
SO I'm already pumped. You'll have to post progress on your costumes as you go! ♥
