I'm glad my cold didn't turn out to be the swine flu, the H1N1 virus, which is making big headlines here. Some French schools have had to close classes, and the French Ministry of Health recommends that people refrain from giving one another cheek kisses. It's gotten so bad that our local high school is actually installing soap and paper towel

Nope, no soap! And you're lucky if there's toilet paper. It's Pauline's high school, and she was absolutely shocked when she found out these goodies were forthcoming! P.S. I'm so proud of myself, sent this entry to FB and LJ at the same time with ping!

I always carry that kind of stuff in my purse! Not dispensers, I mean, Kleenex. You never know!
