Words fail to describe how truly spectacular Avatar: The Last Airbender is. There are so many things great about this show and after watching the finale, I have to say that it is the greatest animated series ever created. i can't recommend it enough, it's perfect...even though it starts off a bit slow in the beginning...it really picks up and by the end of the first season you have a pretty good idea that you're watching something really amazing.

I agree with Aggie in that it starts off slow, but it picks up and it's a top notch program.

Avatar has some of the best characters, and many strong female characters, who are on par with the males without being out of place.

Great storytelling and characters.

the show is perfect. writing, characters, style, production, and the voice acting is just freaking awesome. andrea romano is just pure genius. it's rare that you find that kind of harmony in a creative medium that has so many components. avatar is to animation what arrested development is to comedic television. simply perfect.

I cannot argue with your sound logic. So who was your fave character scenes/moments.

For some reason I always like Iroh. Mind you the other characters are fantastic. I liked his calm under pressure, esp. when Zuko was being bratty.

Sokka I identified with. Something about silliness mixed with brilliance.

Azula you know I do. Here's the thing, when she was vulnerable and jealous of Ty lee for attracting boys, you saw that she was a person. Sadly when she lost her girls' support, she became undone. She wouldn't admit it, but she needed them and used fear to keep them around.

of course katara is my favorite charater, but i really love toph and zuko too. especially zuko. i'm kinda partial to the anti-heroes i guess. and i hate that i love azula. she's such a tragic figure in that, she feeds into her father's mania and thrives on it ( ... )

I finally saw it!!!!

I'm sad about what happened to Azula in the end (and I hate that I feel sad). Toph is all kinds of awesome.

I still want more Avatar! :(
